I enjoy translating all kinds of texts, but my favourite material are fictive and audiovisual works. My previous experience comes mainly from translating literature – fact and fiction – from Finnish into English. I spent most of the noughties living in Manchester, which has made me very familiar with British English and culture.
I have a master’s degree in English Philology, which has given me great insight into various genres of literature, and in my translation studies I specialised in translating fiction and audiovisual works. I also have a bachelor's degree from Manchester in Hospitality Business Management.
My passion is language and everything that can be achieved with it. I read a lot, knit and crochet, prepare vegetarian food and give my little grey cells a break by watching ice hockey.
