I translate and proofread both Finnish and English texts. My specialist fields include technical and administrative texts but I also work well with texts that represent a high register, such as academic texts, both in English and Finnish. My strengths in proofreading and editing are similarly focused on academic and formal texts.
I have accumulated experience in translating museum exhibition texts, websites, administrative instructions and academic texts, editing administrative texts in English and proofreading and editing Finnish non-fiction books.
Most of my free time is spent working for various organisations. In addition to this, I occasionally go geocaching and sometimes blog on language-related matters (in Finnish).
